The University of Salford proudly celebrated its continued success in higher education at the Advance HE National Teaching Fellowship Scheme (NTFS) and Collaborative Award for Teaching Excellence (CATE) Awards Ceremony 2025, held at the Harbor Hotel on 25 September.
The evening was filled with joy and recognition, as guests gathered to honour outstanding contributions to teaching and learning. A standout moment was the recognition of Claire Mercer, who was awarded a prestigious National Teaching Fellowship. Her achievement marks the third consecutive year that Salford colleagues have received national accolades from Advance HE, underscoring the University’s unwavering commitment to educational excellence.
