Maggie is an Academic Developer in LTEC, linked to the School of Science, Engineering and Environment. Her areas of expertise relate to doctoral study, belonging and wellbeing, academic identity and building communities. She brings experience of programme and module leadership (levels 4-8), and supervision of doctoral candidates for multi and cross disciplinary studies in the Salford Business School and the School of Health and Society.
Maggie holds a BA (Hons) in Management, a Postgraduate Certificate in Education, a CertTESOL and a Doctor of Philosophy. Her research interests include using qualitative methodologies such as Interpretative Phenomenological Analysis to explore the lived experiences of international students, Phenomenon Based Learning, and construction management. She is a Senior Fellow of the Higher Education Academy.
