There was much excitement on Day 2 of the ‘LTEC Festival of Learning and Teaching 2025’ for the announcement of the 2025/26 LTEC Scholars and projects!
Following the University-wide call for submissions and a shortlisting process including colleagues from all Schools and Professional Services, we are delighted to announce the six funded projects are:
- Dr Helen Whitehead (SSEE): Optionality in Assessments: Understanding the benefits and challenges of providing a flexible and inclusive learning environment
- Afsana Chowdhury (SBS): A New Materialist Exploration of International Students’ Being and Belonging in Higher Education.
- Fiona Howat (SBS): Enhancing learner digital competencies: Designing an interactive blended learning programme with digital skill development in mind.
- Dr Leah Greene (SHS): ‘The Perspective Experience’ Proof of Concept: An immersive journey into lived reality
- Dr Natalie Yates-Bolton (SHS): The Cross-University COIL Collaboration: Enhancing COIL at the University of Salford: a cross-university approach to supporting colleagues develop, implement and evaluate collaborative online international learning (COIL).
- Sandra Donnelly (SBS): Evaluating the impact of a data-driven support and interventions approach in a Level 6 core module and exploring the intersectionality factors that affect student completion and attainment rate.
The teams behind these projects represent engagement from across all Schools and a range of Professional Services areas.
